Capturing meaningful, multidimensional and actionable insights to complex development challenges

As technical lead of the UN’s socio-economic response to the COVID-19 pandemic, UNDP brings together the COVID-19 Data Futures Platform, which translates multidimensional data into actionable, evidence based insights that foster system thinking and co-creation of policy initiatives. Drawing on data from across the UN system and partners, simulations focus on the most critical recovery challenges in an interactive way for rapid decision making and sensemaking, including those which are instrumental in advancing poverty alleviation and social protection.

The platform is intended for policy makers, including government officials and UN staff, international organizations, grass roots movements, think tanks and academia.
